About Me
My name is Anastasia Markopoulos.
I am a graduate of the MICH Academy for Holism and Classical Homeopathy, holding diplomas in homeopathy, naturopathy, and holistic health approaches. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (with distinction) and am a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner, an energy-based approach that emphasizes presence, awareness, and education to support overall well-being.
My background allows me to integrate psychological understanding into a global, individualized, and person-centered approach, oriented toward education, attentive listening, and well-being.
I have also worked at the Montreal Children’s Hospital as a Child Life Educator Assistant, where I further developed the importance of presence, active listening, and respectful support.
On a personal level, I have been happily married for twenty years and am the mother of two children who inspire me every day. Our family also shares its daily life with a loyal Labrador, a source of joy and simplicity.
These human experiences enrich my approach and support a practice grounded in compassion, connection, and authenticity.
MY APPROACH & TOOLS
I support my clients in enhancing their overall well-being through a complementary, educational, and individualized approach that encourages balance and personal autonomy. My guidance draws on the following supportive tools:
- Educational reflections and lifestyle-related guidance, adapted to each person’s needs and pace.
- Natural nutrition principles for informational purposes, aimed at improving understanding of everyday food choices.
- Herbal support and traditional use of plants, within a wellness-oriented framework.
- Homeopathy, approached from a global and individualized perspective.
- Stress and nervous system regulation approaches
- Support for establishing balanced rest and sleep routines
- Mind–body techniques that promote awareness and inner balance.
- Self-harmonization techniques inspired by principles of energetic awareness (autonomous practice, without symbols), supporting relaxation, presence, and overall balance
All interventions are offered within a well-being support framework. They do not constitute medical acts, do not provide diagnoses, and do not replace medical care, treatment, or follow-up by a licensed healthcare professional.
AREAS OF INTEREST
I am particularly interested in supporting the overall well-being of my clients by focusing on:
- Physical and energetic balance
- Stress, anxiety, and mood management
- Supporting people with chronic or autoimmune conditions, as well as anyone seeking to improve their overall wellness.
These areas are often interconnected, and my role is to help clients better understand their physical and emotional responses through an educational, compassionate approach that promotes autonomy.
Having personally experienced digestive challenges during adolescence, I bring a professional and empathetic perspective, especially helpful for those looking to understand and support their inner balance.
I continually pursue ongoing education and am a member of RITMA, allowing me to provide receipts for insurance purposes.
